Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ML Horsemanship. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, participation in our training services, and engagement with our business. By accessing our site or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 

1. Services Provided

ML Horsemanship offers:

  • In-person horse training services, including behavioural support, groundwork, backing/restarting, rehab, schooling, and holiday stays

  • Residential training where horses stay on-site

 

All services are delivered using a modern, ethical, horse-first approach.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • Bookings must be made in advance via email, phone, or online booking system.

  • A deposit may be required to secure a place for courses or training stays.

  • Full payment is due by the agreed date before services commence.

  • Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Late cancellations may incur a charge or forfeit the deposit. Any deposit for horses coming in for training is non-refundable.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding their horse’s history, behaviour, medical background, and any known risks.

  • Horses must be in suitable physical condition for the agreed training or must be under appropriate veterinary care.

  • ML Horsemanship reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the horse presents a safety risk or undisclosed issues arise.

 

4. Horse Welfare and Safety

We operate with the highest regard for horse welfare. All training is carried out using ethical, evidence-based methods, prioritising the mental and physical well-being of the horse.

  • Any signs of distress, lameness, or behavioural concern will be communicated to the owner immediately.

  • Veterinary care will be sought if deemed necessary (at the owner’s expense) in the event of illness or injury during the horse’s stay.

  • Owners agree to cover any veterinary or emergency costs incurred while their horse is in our care.

 

5. Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure the safety of all horses and clients, ML Horsemanship cannot be held liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services, except in cases of proven negligence.

  • Horses are left in our care at the owner's risk.

  • Owners are strongly advised to have appropriate insurance for their horse(s).

 

6. Website Use

  • All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of ML Horsemanship and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

  • The website may contain links to third-party sites; ML Horsemanship is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, written content, and training resources provided by ML Horsemanship remain the intellectual property of ML Horsemanship and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.

 

8. Changes to Services or Terms

ML Horsemanship reserves the right to modify these Terms and the nature or pricing of services at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

 

9. Governing Law
